This specific role involves 1:1 Nursing in a patient's home with a friendly 9yr old Female who has a developmental delay, Gastrostomy, is Non-ambulatory, Non-verbal, requires Oxygen, has Seizure activity, a Tracheostomy, and is on a Ventilator. A well-trained and friendly Labrador will also be present in the home.

Requirements

  • Some experience with tracheostomy and ventilator required.
  • NYS Nursing licensure required.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Completion of onboarding required prior to training.
  • Must have malpractice insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • Full-time or per diem cases available.
  • Cases/shifts available in surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 nursing care in a patient's home.
  • Administer care to a pediatric patient with complex medical needs including Gastrostomy, Tracheostomy, and Ventilator support.
  • Monitor patient for seizure activity and administer oxygen as needed.
  • Complete nursing notes within 24 hours of the shift being completed.
