About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the CCU provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, comprehensive nursing care to patients. The RN coordinates and integrates patient care using the nursing process, directs care according to established safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control standards, and works toward discharging patients after providing an optimal level of care. This is a full-time day-shift position.

Requirements

• Meet the education requirements recognized by the State of Florida for Registered Nurse licensure.
• Hold a Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
• Hold BLS certification.
• Hold ACLS and Basic EKG certifications if applicable.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Prior clinical experience in the area of expertise.
• CCRN certification.
• TNCC certification.
• PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Report for scheduled shifts on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
• Attend and participate in meetings and take responsibility for information communicated at meetings.
• Adhere to corporate, regional, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist patients, family members, physicians, visitors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
• Follow infection control procedures at all times.
• Adhere to environmental care standards.
