About The Position
Carroll County Memorial Hospital is hiring a full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse. The role is based at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, Kentucky, and works 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for 36 hours per week, with weekends rotated. The hospital’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of residents and visitors in Carroll County and surrounding counties by providing quality, compassionate, cost-effective, and convenient health care in collaboration with other health care organizations. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the needs of patients and families from neonates through geriatric patients. The position also supports patient and unit operations, provides health education, demonstrates clinical competency and professional development, and applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions while acting in a clinical leadership role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current licensure in the state of Kentucky.
- CPR certification, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire.
- ACLS certification, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire.
- PALS certification within the past six months, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in the area of specialty.
- One to two years of ER experience.
Responsibilities
