About The Position

Carroll County Memorial Hospital is hiring an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide patient care in its ER. The role supports the hospital’s mission to improve the health and well-being of Carroll County residents and visitors by providing quality, compassionate, cost-effective, and convenient health care in collaboration with community organizations. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient and family needs across ages from neonate through geriatric, while demonstrating clinical competence, professional development, and the hospital’s core values of Respect, Compassion, Justice, Stewardship, and Excellence. This is a full-time hourly position working 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 36 hours per week, with rotated weekends. The position is based at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, Kentucky.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or associate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
Current licensure in the state of Kentucky.
CPR certification, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire.
ACLS certification, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire.
PALS certification within the past six months, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

Certification in the area of specialty.
One to two years of ER experience.

Responsibilities

Perform other related duties.
