About The Position

Box is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to support Release Management within the GTM PMO organization. This role involves partnering closely with stakeholders across Product Marketing, Product Management, Technical Program Management, and operational functions to drive go-to-market activities and ensure the timely delivery of product launches. The ideal candidate will have a passion for how technology is changing work, experience managing similar programs, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Key aspects of the role include building strong cross-functional relationships, synthesizing complex technical and operational information into business requirements, and effective communication across all organizational levels.

Requirements

  • Exceptional collaborator and communicator with an ability to lead and coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strategic thinker who understands the bigger picture while also being comfortable in the details of deliverables.
  • 5+ years of program and project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Experience working with Google Sheets or related project management tools.
  • Proven ability to excel in the face of ambiguity and responding to changing needs or shifting priorities while minimizing project impact.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work well within time constraints to meet critical business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end release management process, from product release to production to the planning of GTM activities to ensure successful marketing launch.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including product management, go-to-market teams, product operations, and product marketing to understand tasks and deliverables essential for launch and drive their delivery.
  • Partner closely with operational teams (legal, technical accounting, go-to-market ops) to identify and resolve complex, cross-functional operational issues, often unique to each project.
  • Facilitate conversations and drive consensus for complex, ambiguous problems with diverse, sometimes conflicting viewpoints.
  • Partner deeply with product marketing to develop and execute quarterly marketing plans, launch tiering, and key product launches.
  • Partner closely with product management to drive product release activities to support a successful deployment to production.
  • Create and maintain a single source of truth that cross-functional stakeholders can use to keep track of product release timing, status, and details.
