Senior Project Manager (Change & Release Management, z/OS Mainframe)
About The Position
Optiveum is recruiting and contracting for a client in the banking industry. The Senior Project Manager will own change and release activities for a programme delivering technology changes in the z/OS mainframe area. As the programme’s single point of contact, the role coordinates business and technical change activities. The position is full-time (40 hours per week) and hybrid, with three days per week in the office, in Warsaw, Łódź, Gdańsk, or Gdynia. The stated rate is up to 128 PLN per hour on a B2B basis. There are two openings, and the application deadline is 30 November 2026.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of project or programme management experience in a large organisation.
- Hands-on experience in change and release management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced English.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of or experience with z/OS mainframes.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry, such as banking.
- Experience facilitating information-sharing and upskilling activities.
Responsibilities
- Own the programme’s change and release management processes in accordance with the bank’s internal processes and guidelines.
- Manage change for both business processes and technical changes.
- Act as the single point of contact for coordinating business and technical change activities.
- Manage communication and alignment with business and technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate and facilitate changes delivered by application development teams.
- Coordinate information-sharing and upskilling activities for relevant users.
