About The Position

The Change and Release Manager owns the change-management function for the engagement, ensuring that every production change is performed through automation or a governed, auditable manual procedure. The role directs Release Engineers and the Infrastructure Engineer on execution and owns the AWS tenancy relationship. The position is part of Quant’s New York team supporting its On-Chain Money Initiative.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in change/release management, ITIL-aligned.
• Strong coordination across engineering and operations.
• Discipline in risk assessment and rollback planning.
• Comfort with formal audit requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in infrastructure-as-code environments.
• ITIL certification.

Responsibilities

• Own the change-control process and chair the change-advisory board.
• Ensure every production change flows through automation or a governed, auditable manual procedure.
• Own the AWS tenancy relationship and its governance.
• Direct Release and Infrastructure Engineers on the Terraform estate, Helm charts, and CI/CD pipeline for chain-node deployments.
• Report change success and change-related incidents to the Engagement Director.
