About The Position
The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization’s policies and procedures, demonstrates professional growth and accountability, maintains standards of practice, and coordinates assigned staff’s patient care activities to provide quality nursing care. This role is in the Piedmont Henry Float Pool and is listed as full-time, day shift.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- New graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
- Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
- BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- For PRN positions, one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Advanced certification in the applicable specialty, if applicable.
- Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
