Requirements

• Flexibility to work a 4x10-hour shift schedule and travel as part of a temporary assignment
• Commitment to patient safety, evidence-based practice, and compliance with applicable professional standards
• Ability to operate effectively within a medical facility setting and adapt to changing perioperative needs

Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases for surgical patients
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Monitor patient status, manage vital signs, respond to changes, and ensure sterile technique and infection prevention
• Document care accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining compliance with regulatory and ethical standards
• Support patient and family education and discharge planning as part of the perioperative process
