About The Position

Join the team as a day-shift, part-time Cardiac Rehab Registered Nurse in Westwood, New Jersey. This position assists in delivering personalized, professional, quality patient care and internal and external customer service. The nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for patients and provides care that includes assessment, planning, implementation, education, management, and evaluation in accordance with nursing standards and operational guidelines. The role also involves preparing departmental paperwork, entering and retrieving patient information in the Hospital Information System (HIS), providing nursing care or education in other nursing units when necessary, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service acute-care community hospital with an emergency department, maternity center, women's imaging center, and ICU.

Requirements

Graduate of an NLN/AACN-accredited nursing program.
At least 1 year of experience.
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing Examiners.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

At least 3 years of experience.
Previous employment in a cardiovascular setting.
