About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• RN license active in the state of Missouri
• Must obtain BLS within 90 days of hire date
• Must obtain ACLS within one year of hire date

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients during pre and post-procedure phases.
• Assist in performing interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, valvuloplasties, angioplasties, and stents.
• Assist in inserting pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
• Circulate cases.
• Administer moderate sedation, pain medication, and other physician-ordered medications during procedures.
• Initiate or maintain medication drips to manage patient hemodynamics.
• Conduct point-of-care lab testing as ordered.
