About The Position

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Vermont
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced LTC environment and manage multiple residents
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; adaptability for a travel assignment

Nice To Haves

• Experience in long-term care or geriatric care preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
• Assess, monitor, and document residents’ vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatment plans according to physicians’ orders; maintain accurate MARs
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Support activities of daily living, promote safety, and ensure resident comfort and dignity
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members; document changes and report concerns promptly
