About The Position

The Registered Nurse will work onsite in Maryville, Tennessee, in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting. This is a three-month contract position on a night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend is required, though the schedule may change based on need. The nurse may float to similar units as required and will assist with special and bedside procedures. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

• Active Tennessee RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• At least 1 year of medical-surgical/telemetry experience.
• At least 1 year of Epic experience.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

• First-time travelers will be reviewed based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Float to similar units as required.
• Perform and assist with special procedures, including post-heart-catheterization care.
• Perform bedside procedures, including dialysis catheter procedures, thoracentesis, and incision and drainage (I&D).
• Operate the Omnicell medication system.
