About The Position

The Registered Nurse/MS/Tele position is an onsite, three-month contract assignment in Maryville, Tennessee. The schedule is a night shift of three 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with coverage every other weekend; the schedule may change based on need. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available. The nurse will provide care in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting, float to similar units as needed, perform bedside procedures, and assist with special procedures. Required qualifications include an active Tennessee RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification, at least one year of MS/Tele experience, at least one year of EPIC experience, and proficiency with the Omnicell medication system. Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
Current NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
At least one year of MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry) experience.
At least one year of EPIC experience.
Proficiency with the Omnicell medication system.
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.

Responsibilities

Float to similar units if needed.
Perform bedside procedures, including dialysis catheter procedures, thoracentesis, and incision and drainage (I&D).
Assist with special procedures, including post-heart-catheterization care.
Provide coverage every other weekend; this may change based on need.
