About The Position

GTT is recruiting a Registered Nurse for a medical-surgical/telemetry role in Maryville, Tennessee. This is an onsite, three-month contract with a night schedule of three 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The schedule includes every-other-weekend coverage and may change based on need. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available. The nurse may float to similar units as needed, perform post-heart-catheterization special procedures, and perform bedside procedures including dialysis catheter procedures, thoracentesis, and incision and drainage. Required qualifications include at least one year of MS/Tele and Epic experience, proficiency with the Omnicell medication system, an active Tennessee RN license, and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. First-time travelers will be reviewed based on experience.

Requirements

At least one year of MS/Tele experience.
At least one year of Epic experience.
Proficiency with the Omnicell medication system.

BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Float to similar units as required.
Perform post-heart-catheterization special procedures.
Perform bedside procedures, including dialysis catheter procedures, thoracentesis, and incision and drainage.
