About The Position
This role reports to the Senior Vice President, Chief Clinical Officer, and collaborates with the Palliative Care Medical Director. The position involves a combination of direct patient and family care/support, along with administrative management. Responsibilities include budget development and monitoring, staff scheduling, supervision of social workers and chaplains, purchasing office equipment and supplies, and collaborating on metric tracking. The role also involves working with medical leadership on policy and procedure development, program execution, participating in hospital committees, and assisting with regulatory surveys.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work Required or Master's Degree of Divinity or religious study equivalency from recognized seminary Required
- 5 years experience or more working in the field Required
- 3 years experience in Palliative and Hospice Care Required
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education from ACPE Preferred
- 2 years experience in a supervisory role Preferred
- Adv Cert Hospice Palliative SW Preferred
- PA Clinical Social Worker Lic Preferred
- Board Cert Chaplain Preferred
