About The Position

This is a full-time Occupational Therapist position at University Hospital, part of UW Health, which is the #1 hospital in Wisconsin. The role involves providing consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to help patients maximize functional outcomes and optimize discharge. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, provide patient and family-centered care in a fast-paced, dynamic acute care environment, and demonstrate clinical excellence, autonomy, adaptability, and engagement. The position also requires a commitment to ongoing learning through peer mentorship and clinical education, and active participation in program development and quality improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months

  • 2 years prior relevant experience
