About The Position

CBI Home Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist to support clients virtually across multiple regions in Ontario. The role involves providing occupational therapy interventions and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to help clients live safely and independently at home and in the community. This position is offered at $57.44–$70.00 per visit and is for an existing vacancy. Full-time, part-time, casual, and independent contractor opportunities are available, with flexible scheduling options.

Requirements

• Be a registered member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
• Provide person- and family-centered care with passion and empathy.
• Exercise good judgment and critical thinking in client care decisions.
• Have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
• Value the role of a therapist in enabling clients to remain at home when doing so aligns with their personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy interventions, including activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living strategies, equipment recommendations, and home modifications.
• Use a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to care and services.
• Support a restorative approach to health through interventions, health coaching, and self-management support.
• Use digital platforms for care delivery, collaboration, documentation, and intervention.
