About The Position

Liberty POST is seeking motivated and energetic Early Childhood Occupational Therapists to provide services to children from birth to age five through Early Intervention programs. Positions are available in Dutchess and Orange Counties, including Newburgh, Port Jervis, and Highland Falls, and in Westchester, New York. The role involves working as part of a collaborative team that provides evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play, with attention to children’s natural learning environments and families’ individual strengths and needs. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The position is available part-time and/or full-time, with full-time preferred. Compensation varies by service type and duration. For Early Intervention, rates are $54 for a 30-minute session, $67 for a 60-minute session, $145 for an evaluation, and $165 for a bilingual evaluation. For CPSE, rates are $42 for a 30-minute session, $65 for a 60-minute session, $145 for an evaluation, and $165 for a bilingual evaluation. Payment is biweekly, with direct deposit available.

Requirements

Current New York State license and registration in Occupational Therapy.
Valid driver’s license.
At least one year of experience working with early childhood.
Current OT license and certification.
