About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a senior living community in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. This is a flexible PRN opportunity described as part-time, with potential to grow into a full-time role. The therapist will join an established, supportive rehabilitation team and help residents maintain independence through individualized occupational therapy services. The position offers pay of $45–$48 per hour, based on experience, and a collaborative environment focused on quality patient care. Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility for licensure.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to lift and assist patients as needed, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

Evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
Develop personalized treatment plans to meet clients’ goals and enhance functional abilities.
Educate clients and families on improving daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Advocate for clients’ needs and support access to community resources, services, and accommodations.
