About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist to work in a senior living assisted-living setting in Fort Worth, Texas. The role involves evaluating clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities; developing personalized treatment plans; helping clients improve functional abilities and daily activities; and educating clients and families about adaptive equipment and environmental modifications. The therapist maintains accurate documentation, advocates for clients, and supports access to community resources, services, and accommodations. Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility for licensure.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

Evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients’ goals and enhance their functional abilities.
Educate clients and their families on improving daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Advocate for clients’ needs and support them in accessing community resources, services, and accommodations.
