About The Position
PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence, improve daily living skills, and maximize quality of life. The role is based at a skilled nursing facility in Austell, Georgia, and is scheduled PRN. The position offers compensation up to $130,000 annually, depending on experience, schedule, and location, as well as benefits, career growth opportunities, and a collaborative culture focused on clinical excellence. The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients’ ability to perform activities of daily living, develops treatment plans to enhance independence and functional performance, and addresses cognitive, physical, and sensory limitations. The therapist also recommends adaptive equipment and environmental modifications, documents progress and outcomes, works with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and educates patients and caregivers on functional strategies.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.
Nice To Haves
- NBCOT certification preferred.
- Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), home health, or post-acute care preferred.
Responsibilities
