The Registered RN is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of use. Follows established policies and procedures Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management and physicians Applies Cooper core values Other duties as required The Cooper Voorhees Surgery Center (VSC) is a hospital-run outpatient surgical center that follows the same clinical standards as Cooper’s main surgical facilities in Camden. As a non-24/7 center, all patients return home after their procedures, with any complications routed to Cooper in Camden or the nearest appropriate facility. VSC manages its own pre-admission screening and guides patients through registration, pre-op preparation, anesthesia and surgical care, and recovery in PACU before discharge. This streamlined, patient-focused environment supports high-quality same-day surgical care.
