About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse delivers direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and supervises assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. This is a cardiology role with a day schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The posting advertises a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a 595-bed acute care teaching and referral hospital and the flagship hospital of Methodist Health System. The hospital has an adult Level I Trauma Center and a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in southern Dallas, as well as the Linda and Mitch Hart Breast Center. Its programs and distinctions include a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation programs. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current Basic Life Support certification.
Current additional certifications as required by the department.
Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas, or eligibility to obtain one.
At least 12 months of RN experience.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
