About The Position

The Registered Nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. This position is with Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a 595-bed acute care teaching and referral hospital and the flagship hospital of Methodist Health System. The center describes itself as a diverse, community-serving workplace and is home to an adult Level I Trauma Center, a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, and the Linda and Mitch Hart Breast Center.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current Basic Life Support certification.
Current additional certifications as required by the department.
Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas, or eligibility to obtain one.
At least 12 months of RN experience.
