About The Position

The Registered Nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. This is a night-shift Med Surg position at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. The schedule is 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week, with rotating days of the week. The posting offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a 595-bed acute care teaching and referral hospital and the flagship hospital of Methodist Health System. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current Basic Life Support certification.
Current additional certifications as required by the department.
Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
At least 12 months of RN experience.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
