About The Position

Requirements

• Current TB skin test.
• Current CPR certification.
• Bachelor's of Nursing from an accredited nursing facility.
• Current compact state Registered Nurse license.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and others who understand care requirements.
• Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families to create a compassionate environment.
• Promote patient independence by setting care goals, teaching patients and their support networks about conditions, medications, and self-care, and answering questions.
• Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring outcomes against goals and standards, making or recommending adjustments, and following applicable hospital, nursing division, and regulatory standards.
• Resolve patient problems and needs using multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations and calling for assistance from healthcare support personnel.
