About The Position

Franciscan Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families. The RN listens to and assesses each patient, develops a plan of care, implements it, and reassesses and evaluates each patient. The role is based at Franciscan Health Michigan City Campus and will also float to Franciscan Health Chesterton Infusion Center according to patient need. This position offers a didactic learning experience in a fast-paced environment. The position is .9 FTE, with hours that vary and flex with patient need, and includes rotating holidays and weekends based on patient needs.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited program is required.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Indiana or a state listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) is required.
• Experienced nurses are required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Listen to and assess patients.
• Develop, implement, reassess, and evaluate each patient's plan of care.
• Provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
• Float between Franciscan Michigan City Main Campus and Franciscan Health Chesterton Infusion Center according to patient need.
