About The Position

Franciscan Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families. Nurses develop and implement plans of care, reassess patients, and evaluate their care. This role is based at Franciscan Health Michigan City Campus and will also float to Franciscan Health Chesterton Infusion Center according to patient needs. The position is .6 FTE, with hours that vary and flex with patient need. Patient ratios are acuity dependent, and the role includes a didactic learning experience in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited program is required.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Experienced nurses required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Listen to and assess patients, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and cared for.
• Develop and implement plans of care for patients.
• Reassess patients and evaluate their care.
• Provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
• Float between Franciscan Michigan City Main Campus and Franciscan Health Chesterton Infusion Center according to patient need.
