About The Position

Ohioans Home Health is hiring a dayshift Registered Nurse to serve clients in Wayne, Washtenaw, Lenawee, and Monroe Counties in Michigan. The RN performs admission visits for new home health clients and establishes plans of care that guide care delivery. The role requires strong assessment skills to identify when additional disciplines may be needed and involves field-based work with a diverse patient caseload, including high-acuity cases. The position offers guaranteed day shifts on a Panama schedule with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends. The RN works with autonomy while having access to a Case Manager and support from the organization. Orientation includes classroom instruction, field experience, shadowing, and preceptor support. Ongoing learning resources include skill labs and the Elsevier Home Health Care platform, with drug information, patient education, procedure materials, best-practice updates, and assigned training.

Requirements

One year of acute care experience.
Current RN state licensure.
Ability to travel for in-home patient visits.
Exceptional time-management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to work a Panama schedule with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends.

Nice To Haves

Home healthcare or case management experience preferred.

Responsibilities
