Surgical RN - Registered Nurse - 10,000 Sign On Bonus

About The Position
The Surgical Registered Nurse works in the Surgery department at Waterloo Medical Center, which has 12 fast-paced operating rooms. Cases include trauma, orthopedic, podiatry, general surgery, urology, robotics, and neurosurgery. RNs scrub, circulate, and assist. This is a full-time, 36-hour-per-week position on the day shift. Scheduled hours depend on cases. The role includes evening and weekend call, and the nurse must be able to arrive within 30 minutes while on call.
Requirements
- Current Iowa RN license.
- No previous experience required.
- Ability to meet the 30-minute response requirement while on call.

- BSN preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Supervise and coordinate care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
- Facilitate communication with physicians, families, and other team members.
- Scrub, circulate, and assist in surgical cases.
