About The Position
The Ambulatory Registered Nurse is a member of the Gynecologic/Urology Oncology Care team at Community Health Network MD Anderson Cancer Center. The role supports patients in an outpatient setting and includes rooming patients, triaging calls, providing patient education, assessing patients, assisting physicians with minor office procedures, conducting nurse visits, scheduling surgeries, and performing other related tasks as needed. The office is located at the South Cancer Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Community Health Network was created to serve its neighbors and emphasizes exceptional care, community involvement, and opportunities for caregivers to learn and grow. Community Health Network MD Anderson Cancer Center is a partnership between Community Health Network and MD Anderson Cancer Center, formed in 2022, integrating Community’s cancer services with MD Anderson across Community’s five cancer-care sites. It is the only MD Anderson partner in Indiana.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing school accredited by the National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA), or have three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana, as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

Nice To Haves
- One year or more of nursing experience is preferred; newer graduates may be considered if already licensed as a registered nurse.
- Previous medical office or outpatient experience preferred.
- Urology and gynecology experience preferred.
- EPIC experience is a plus.
