Registered Nurse role in an emergency room treating patients with diagnoses including, but not limited to, hypertension, diabetes, congestive heart failure, end-stage renal disease, coronary artery disease, abdominal pain, STEMI/NSTEMI, pulmonary embolism, COPD, and behavioral health conditions. The nurse may float within the facility and scope of practice as needed. The position includes working every other weekend and may require work on major holidays according to the assignment schedule. The unit requires at least two years of experience and accepts first-time travelers. Up to seven days of requested time off (RTO) are allowed. Full compliance is required to start on time; otherwise, the start may be delayed by two weeks because orientation is held biweekly. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Non-billable orientation hours depend on assignment length (for example, 8 hours for an 8-week assignment or 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).
