Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with and maintaining confidential information.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Use the Nursing Process in delivering patient care through data gathering, planning, and evaluation.
• Provide care based on patients’ physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the ages of patients served.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, guests, family members, and coworkers to support a quality patient experience.
• Adapt positively to rapid changes in unit or department needs throughout the day.
• Manage personal professional development and maintain required clinical knowledge, technical skills, training, and credentials.
• Direct and assist ancillary nursing staff with assigned duties.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and other personnel.
• Perform other related duties as required.
