About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital - Savannah is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses play a central role in delivering compassionate, high-quality treatment throughout patients’ recovery. The position is based in Savannah, Georgia, and is full-time on day shift from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Compensation is $37.00–$50.00 per hour, based on experience, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are accurately transcribed and processed.
• Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
