About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years' experience working in healthcare OR Two (2) years' experience working in customer service
• Proficient PC skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Basic computer skills; EHR, Excel, Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• process referral requests
• obtain authorization for medical services and/or admissions
• coordinate all aspects of the admission process if applicable
• data entry of referrals and authorizations
• verification of eligibility
• daily communication with insurance companies
• works closely with the clinical team and medical providers to provide care for our patients in a timely manner
