About The Position
The Assistant Nurse Manager assists with, facilitates, and communicates patients’ plans of care to members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team. The position also supports human resource management activities, including staff scheduling, staff development, and performance monitoring. The Assistant Nurse Manager is accountable for management of the division on a 24-hour basis and functions as manager in the Nurse Manager’s absence. The role promotes teamwork among all members of the healthcare team and performs duties consistently with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Two years of current RN experience in a Cardiac Cath or EP Lab.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Assist with, facilitate, and communicate patients’ plans of care to the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Assist with human resource management activities, including staff scheduling, staff development, and performance monitoring.
- Maintain accountability for management of the division on a 24-hour basis.
- Function as manager in the absence of the Nurse Manager.
- Promote teamwork among all members of the healthcare team.
- Perform duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
