About The Position

The UTMB Department of Radiology is seeking fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible cardiothoracic imaging radiologists to join their academic faculty. This role offers the chance to practice at a high-volume, technologically advanced academic medical center, contributing to resident and fellow education, research, and the clinical mission. The position is open to all career stages, and UTMB can assist foreign medical graduates with certification. UTMB is a respected academic medical center with a tripartite mission of clinical excellence, education, and research. The Department of Radiology provides a collegial environment with subspecialty depth, balancing academic contributions with clinical practice. Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Radiology
  • Fellowship training in cardiothoracic imaging
  • Valid Texas Medical License, or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Eligibility for appointment to the UTMB medical staff
  • Authorization to work in the United States
