About The Position
Michels Corporation is seeking a Shop Mechanic to perform basic tasks in repairing and maintaining vehicles and construction equipment. This role involves performing preventative maintenance and ensuring vehicles and equipment are in functional condition by repairing engine failures, replacing parts, and repairing body damage. The company is a large, family-owned and operated business focused on infrastructure improvement and quality, investing significantly in employee training and offering opportunities for hard work and dedication.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of mechanical experience
- Basic computer proficiency
- A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
- Ability to provide own basic hand tools
Nice To Haves
- Ability to weld
- Diesel Mechanic Program completion
- Forklift experience - training will be provided
- Ability to move/operate heavy equipment
Responsibilities
