The TASK Therapist performs duties associated with evaluations and treatment of children and adolescents who have caused sexual harm. This role requires providing clinical expertise and serving as the clinical lead on multi-disciplinary teams. Responsibilities include planning and facilitating individual and family therapy, co-facilitating group therapy using evidence-informed and evidenced-based approaches, and completing Comprehensive Evaluations of Sexual Harm (CESH). The therapist will also conduct Mental Status Evaluations and Comprehensive Clinical Assessments, interpret client assessments and collateral data for case conceptualization, and provide clinically sound discharge information. A significant part of the role involves actively working with youth and families on safety and risk planning. Administrative duties encompass creating and managing treatment plans with Case Managers, documenting in the agency’s electronic health record, completing all required documentation for discharge and funding sources, and participating in peer reviews. Leadership responsibilities include clinically leading Child and Family Team Meetings, supervising Case Managers, and advocating for youth in school and court settings. The therapist is also expected to provide training and consultation to the community and assist in promoting the program. Outreach involves ensuring information dispersal to stakeholders and connecting families with resources. Professionalism includes maintaining mileage logs, submitting credit card receipts, completing all required trainings and meetings, transporting clients, providing 24-hour on-call support, and engaging in regular supervision with the Program Manager.
