The purpose of the Machine Operator B role is to operate and monitor high-speed machinery while complying with production and safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with the ability to multi-task and trouble shoot.
  • Critical thinking skills are necessary.
  • Interfaces with Allen Bradley PLC controller and touch screen devices.
  • Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
  • Must be able to successfully complete the forklift certification, as applicable.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English proficiently.
  • Constantly (67%-100%) required to stand.
  • Occasionally (0%-33%) required to walk and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must understand and be able to use laptops, HMIs, tablets.
  • Must be able to enter data into the system, and interpret data sent to the work station.
  • Must understand the mechanical aspects of each piece of equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains all product flow.
  • Ensures comprehensive product quality.
  • Utilizes computer screens and functions, and is familiar with HMI functionality.
  • Supports OEE functions on line, interprets data and makes adjustments, as needed.
  • Maintains a clean work area and clean equipment.
  • Completes all necessary line inspections and reports using computers/tablets on the line.
  • Assists with line change over.
  • Other duties as assigned.
