About The Position

CMC is hiring a Machine Operator to operate production equipment and monitor output quality and machine performance. The role includes completing work-related paperwork, adjusting machines with company-supplied hand tools, performing minor maintenance, and independently inspecting work to ensure it meets production standards. The operator maintains an organized workstation, follows company safety policies and procedures, and communicates job and machine status to incoming operators during shift transitions. The position offers training and advancement opportunities in the steel, construction reinforcement, and ground stabilization industries.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and monitor the quality of output and machine performance.
• Confirm work receipt and complete required paperwork.
• Adapt to changing priorities, plan how to achieve goals, and implement those plans.
• Adjust machines using company-supplied hand tools and perform minor maintenance; ask questions and seek clarification as needed.
• Work independently and inspect own work to meet production standards.
• Communicate relevant shift carry-over information, including job and machine status, to incoming operators during shift transitions.
• Maintain an organized workstation.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
