About The Position
The Dish Machine Operator is part of the culinary team and helps keep busy kitchens clean, organized, and efficient. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow and advance. The role involves dishwashing, cleaning and sanitizing, organizing dishware, and other kitchen cleaning duties. The listed shift is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; weekend, holiday, and varied hours may apply.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts.
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment with elevated noise levels and exposure to extremely hot water temperatures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push a cart weighing up to 150 pounds.
- Proof of COVID vaccination, partial COVID vaccination, or a medical or religious exemption is required for employment.
Responsibilities
- Wash tableware and cooking equipment, including pots and pans.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
- Organize dishware and glassware.
- Perform additional cleaning responsibilities within the kitchen.
