About The Position

The Dish Machine Operator (DMO) supports kitchen operations by cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchenware. The role operates commercial dishwashing equipment, maintains a clean and safe dish area, and supports sanitation and efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. This is a tipped position.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Must be 18 or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate dish machines to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Inspect items for cleanliness and rewash them as needed.
• Keep dishwashing areas clean and organized, including sinks, counters, and floors.
• Monitor machine performance and promptly report maintenance issues.
• Assist with organizing and storing clean kitchenware.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper chemical handling.
