About The Position

The Dish Machine Operator (DMO)/Busser efficiently collects, cleans, and sanitizes service dishware, utensils, and equipment. The role is part-time and based in Coos Bay, Oregon. The starting wage is $17.50 per hour. Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure when working on the casino floor. Noise is usually moderate and can occasionally become high for short periods. The position supports Three Rivers Casino Resort’s service commitment to deliver kind experiences to guests and Team Members.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Possess or obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment.
Communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing, or by other acceptable means.
Comply with pre-employment, random, and reasonable-suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
Be available to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on departmental needs and special casino events.
Be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
Frequently carry, reach, twist, bend, and squat.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

Collect service dishware and utensils from the dining room.
Use dishwasher and handwashing methods safely and efficiently to ensure proper sanitation.
Restock cleaned items in the appropriate areas.
Regularly clean and disinfect the dishwasher, sinks, counter areas, shelves, and bus tubs.
Ensure the dish machine is in proper working order and report mechanical issues to the Manager.
Clean floors and mats near the dish machine and other kitchen areas as directed.
Monitor and remove garbage throughout kitchen and food preparation areas.
Complete assigned side work duties quickly and effectively.
Follow the Food & Beverage department’s health and personal hygiene policy.
Perform other duties as directed by management.
Live the company’s service commitments in interactions with guests and Team Members.
