About The Position
The Dish Machine Operator supports the culinary team by keeping busy kitchens clean, organized, and efficient. The role includes washing and sanitizing dishware, cooking equipment, and work areas. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow and advance. The position pays $17.00 per hour and offers pay frequency options of daily, weekly, or biweekly. The shift is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with Monday and Tuesday off. Weekend, holiday, and varied hours may apply.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts.
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment with elevated noise levels and exposure to extremely hot water temperatures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push a cart weighing up to 150 lbs.
- Proof of COVID vaccination, partial COVID vaccination, or a medical/religious exemption is required for employment.
Responsibilities
- Wash tableware and cooking equipment, including pots and pans.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
- Organize dishware and glassware.
- Perform additional cleaning responsibilities within the kitchen.
