About The Position

Requirements

• Current CNA or LNA license preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for seniors and/or adults with disabilities, professionally or personally
• Dementia and Alzheimer's care experience is a plus
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional
• Must genuinely enjoy helping others
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle
• Active automobile insurance (required)
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Comfortable using a smartphone to clock in/out and complete documentation

• Dementia and Alzheimer's care experience

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders
• Run errands and grocery shop
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities
• Document care using a smartphone application
• Help promote each client's safety, comfort, and independence
