About The Position
Responsible for the preparation and cooking of food according to established recipes and standards. Assists in the preparation, production and service of food for restaurant, banquet and associate functions. Ensures the quality and presentation of dishes by following recipes and/or product specifications. Maintains standards of sanitation and adheres to food safety regulations. Operates and maintains a variety of kitchen equipment including but not limited to choppers, mixing machines, slicers, steamers, grills, etc. Performs all other duties as deemed necessary by management.
Requirements
- Active Food handler’s certification or the ability to get it
- Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts
- Requires strong organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- At least 21 years of age
- Have a desire to exceed expectations
- An energetic personality
