About The Position

FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the backup Power Generation Industry. We design and build back up power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for large and small health, industrial, and technology-oriented businesses that cannot have a power lapse at any time. As we open our new Texas plant, we are seeking an Inventory Manager to play a key role in building a world-class operation from day one! Applicants should be: Background check and pre-employment drug screening required. Display being detail oriented eye/hand coordination. Able to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions. Able to work well individually or in a team environment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Overview The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory operations and maintaining accurate inventory levels within the warehouse and production environment. This position ensures materials are available to support uninterrupted production while maintaining an organized inventory system and orderly warehouse. The Inventory Manager supervises the Parts Team, manages inventory processes, and evaluates inventory systems and workflows to improve accuracy, efficiency, and material flow. This role is responsible for ensuring materials and components are delivered to production in a timely manner and that inventory practices align with operational and quality requirements. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience managing an Inventory Department or Parts Warehouse
  • Lean Application experience and understand ISO principles
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and an ERP system
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to interact and support other departments in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Manages inventory to record all deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.
  • Ensure that the Production Department has the required items to avoid interruption.
  • Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and improve turns.
  • Resolve inconsistencies with inventory and improve processes as needed.
  • Oversee the Parts team.
  • Ensure cycle counts are completed with root cause analysis of material variances
  • Meet agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
