Producer Resource Coordinator

About The Position

This position encompasses three main components: Administrative Sales Support functions; Education & Technical Learning and Ongoing Mentoring. The Producer Resource Coordinator will be partnered with a Producer(s) to handle many administrative tasks that support the sales process, aiming to increase the producer(s) efficiency and productivity. The role involves interacting internally with various departments across HUB’s national footprint, including Accounting, Marketing, and Service. Training will be provided on systems and support resources. The role also includes educational and technical learning aspects, with participation in HUB-sponsored training sessions and ad hoc external educational opportunities. Within the first six months, the individual must obtain their Property & Casualty License. Finally, the role involves mentoring from successful producers, offering opportunities to learn prospecting, pipeline building, meeting preparation, client communication, objection handling, and relationship building.

  • Technically savvy - ability to quickly learn, use and train on various systems e.g. CRM
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Must excel in a multi-deadline, fast-paced environment; excellent organizational, prioritization skills
  • Ability to be proactive, anticipatory, and handle confidential material
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing assistance to colleagues using various sales tools and resources.
  • Be a proficient user of MS Dynamics CRM (CORE) and HUB’s revenue tracking system (EPIC) for managing the Producer’s pipeline of opportunities.
  • Manage and monitor Producer dashboard.
  • Manage and monitor revenue tracking from various sources of payment across P&C, Benefits and Broker Dealer, as well as, between HUB regions.
  • Manage and monitor the HUB region to region handshake agreement.
  • Prepare monthly reports where needed.
  • Perform ad hoc marketing tasks related to sales and marketing presentations such as RFP support and Presentation support.
  • Complete insurance forms, assist the Producer in obtaining client data, managing the invoicing process and tracking revenue until verified completion.
  • Assist with the organization of and attend certain Producer meetings.
  • Take notes and participate in client and prospect follow up under the supervision of the Producer.
  • Report back on a periodic basis to the CSO and Producer on progress.
  • Mutual discussion on any changes that may be needed to continue on growth trajectory.
  • Research, recommend and implement special projects and/or initiatives such as prospect research.
  • Utilize tools such as LinkedIn and Sutton Place for prospect research.
  • Collaboration with HUB colleagues on all aspects of sales enablement.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships internally and externally to achieve the goals of Producer and the organization.
  • Perform other sales support functions as they arise.
  • From time to time, the position may require off-hour work based on client and producer need, with efforts to maintain work-life balance.
  • Participate in HUB sponsored training sessions.
  • Participate in ad hoc external educational opportunities, usually sponsored by partner carriers.
  • Obtain Property & Casualty License within the first six months.
  • Attend training and exam preparatory classes.
  • Request additional work projects that will enhance understanding of insurance.
  • Attend 3rd party sponsored programming.
  • Spend time with HUB specialists.
  • Attend, inquire and learn about Health & Benefits and Retirement Planning.
  • Listen, participate, and ask questions from experienced producers.
  • Learn prospecting and pipeline building.
